Sithembile Home Care Foundation
Thuleleni TV recently had the privilege of visiting Sithembile Home Care Foundation, a community-based home care service located in Durban CBD that is dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, and companionship to residents (especially the elderly) who wish to remain independent in their own homes.
SA Orphans Seek Papers for Global Trip
Thuleleni TV recently visited a group of young teenage orphans who have earned the chance to travel overseas and represent South Africa. While their talent has opened doors, they are still struggling to secure the legal documents needed to authorize the trip. The teens and their caregivers have also reached out to philanthropist and former Msunduzi Mayor, Themba “Babu” Njilo, for guidance and support in making this dream a reality.
Growing Champions in the Heart of Inanda
Born in high-crime Inanda, one of our founders transformed his life while in prison to launch Thuleleni Organisation and offer youth a better path. We adopted local street soccer players, providing them with professional kits and entry into a formal league to shield them from gangs. This initiative culminated in the team winning the under-15 league championship, proving that teamwork can overcome tough environments. Their victory serves as a powerful symbol of hope, protecting the next generation through sport and dedication. Today, these champions stand as a testament to the power of second chances and community support.
Thuleleni TV connects with communities through in-person and outreach activities, bringing real-life situations and heartwarming stories directly to your doorstep. We believe in the power of shared experiences and community engagement.
Events & Outreach
Indalo Enhle Herbs
Thuleleni TV recently visited Indalo Enhle Herbs and Beyond in central eThekwini after we shared our sister from Nongoma's story about severe, prolonged bleeding. The team welcomed her with care, offered her their herbal support, and encouraged her with the hope of living a healthy, free life again. This visit shows how community partners are stepping in to help restore her strength and dignity.
King Madlokovu & Discipline Bootcamp Team
Thuleleni TV joined the Discipline Bootcamp Team and King Madlokovu as they stepped in to help a man battling addiction turn his life around. Through tough love, honest conversations and community support, he finally agreed to be admitted to a rehabilitation centre. His decision marks a powerful moment of hope, showing how teamwork and guidance can open the door to a second chance.
Seeking Justice for a Broken Agreement
A heartbroken woman has reached out to Thuleleni TV to share her struggle with her late sister's husband. Following her sister's passing, an agreement was reached for him to provide monthly financial support to help the family, but those payments have now completely stopped. Feeling abandoned and mistreated by the very person who should be standing by them, she is now asking for our intervention. She has come to us in a vulnerable state, seeking a way to resolve this conflict and ensure her sister's memory is honored with fairness. We are working to help her find the peace and the support she was promised by her brother-in-law.
