A Father’s Search for Answers: The Courageous Plea of Chioniso Tembo
Colen Tembo is a father desperate for answers as his daughter, Chioniso B Tembo, battles a debilitating and undiagnosed illness. Their exhausting search for healing has spanned across South Africa and Zimbabwe, visiting numerous public and private hospitals, as well as seeking spiritual and traditional guidance, yet no medical clarity has been found. Guided by the support of a friend, Phindile Ngubane, Colen has reached out to Thuleleni TV with a humble plea for any medical assistance or specialist intervention that can finally identify Chioniso's condition and provide her with the treatment she needs to recover.
Thuleleni TV responded with urgency, filming Ntando's vulnerable story and sharing it across YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. The reach of his journey expanded significantly when it was shared on Ukhozi FM’s breakfast show, #EzweniSakhile, capturing the hearts of thousands. It was through this widespread call for help that Dr. Thulani Nkosi, a respected urologist from Ladysmith, and Lavena Private Hospital stepped forward to offer the life-changing medical intervention Ntando so desperately needed.
When Thuleleni team members returned with the good news, they found Ntando and Mr. Shabane surrounded by a community that had gathered to pray. This collective show of support and faith fortified Ntando as he prepared for his journey to Ladysmith. Today, we celebrate a resounding success: the operation was a triumph. Ntando has returned to his workplace, his health and spirit restored.

His transformation stands as one of our most powerful success stories, witnessed by the world and proof that through community and compassion, no one is ever truly alone.
