A Five-Year Battle with Psoriasis: A Young Woman's Plea for Help
"I am writing to Thuleleni TV because I need help with a condition I have been told is called psoriasis. I do not know its name in isiZulu, but I know how much it has changed my life."
These are the heartfelt words of a young woman who has reached out to Thuleleni TV, hoping that her story will be heard and that someone may be able to help her after years of struggling with a painful scalp condition.
According to her, her journey began in 2021. At first, she believed she was simply dealing with severe dandruff. At the time, she had long, thick, and beautiful hair, so she assumed the flakes on her scalp would eventually disappear on their own. She continued braiding her hair as usual, but only a few days after each hairstyle was done, her scalp would become completely covered with thick white flakes.
After years of searching for answers, she has now turned to Thuleleni TV. Having watched many stories of people who have received assistance through the platform, she hopes that her own story will also reach compassionate individuals who may be able to support her during this difficult journey. She has also expressed her willingness to share photographs of her scalp condition so that viewers can better understand the challenges she has been living with.
Her story is a reminder that many people silently endure chronic health conditions that affect not only their physical wellbeing but also their confidence, emotional health, and everyday lives. Living with a visible condition can be incredibly challenging, especially when years of searching for relief have not brought the improvement they hoped for.
